Gazpromneft-Aero, operator of the Gazprom Neft aviation refuelling business, has concluded new long-term refuelling agreements with Air China, Hong Kong Airlines and Air France KLM at Moscow Aviation Hub airports, and with Turkish Airlines at Voronezh and Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic). Total refuelling volumes under these new contracts will exceed 100,000 tonnes of aviation fuel.
This expansion of the company’s client base and international business is being made possible through the company’s use of international aircraft service standards and digital data interchange formats. Gazpromneft-Aero’s clients now include over 80 international carriers. Financial results for the first five months of 2018 show aviation refuelling volumes for international air companies are up 18 percent year-on-year.
Vladimir Egorov, CEO, Gazpromneft-Aero, commented: “Developing partnerships with major global carriers throughout Russia’s airports and abroad is one of our company’s key strategic objectives. We are committed to concluding new formula-based standard two-year agreements with market-leading aviation companies, based on international market indicators. Long-term contracts mean air carriers can be confident in planning their flight programmes at airports at which Gazpromneft-Aero has a presence, knowing they will have guaranteed aviation fuel supplies to the highest IATA standards.”
