Gazpromneft-Aero to enable tenfold increase of Aeroflot refueling outside Russia

Gazpromneft-Aero and Aeroflot have reached an agreement for refueling of the airline’s regular flights at nine airports outside Russia. As a result, Gazpromneft-Aero has now begun refueling of Aeroflot aircraft in Spain, Turkey, Thailand and South Korea.

The terms and conditions of the agreement call for provision of total 85,000 tons of fuel to Aeroflot via the foreign distribution network of Gazpromneft-Aero in 2014, exceeding levels in 2013 by 10 times.

Gazpromneft-Aero refuels Aeroflot aircraft abroad in partnership with direct suppliers of jet fuel, ensuring reliable deliveries on favorable terms.

The CEO of Gazpromneft-Aero, Vladimir Egorov, commented: "Our partnership with leading fuel suppliers on foreign fuel markets ensures that our customers obtain a consistently high-quality service when they need it, observing the pricing formulas in force at all airports where Gazpromneft-Aero is present. Development of cooperation with Russia’s biggest airline company — Aeroflot — is an important step towards achievement of the strategic objectives of Gazpromneft-Aero for increase of fuel sales abroad. Expansion of our partnership with the Russian airline leader helps to improve standards in jet fuel business inside Russia as well as enhancing the positions of Gazpromneft-Aero on the global market.
