Vaccinations — together with acquired immunity to the virus — mean 80% of Gazprom Neft Group employees have developed antibodies against COVID-19. Collective (“herd”) immunity at the company’s Arctic oil fields (including the Prirazlomnaya offshore platform) has already reached 90%.
Gazprom Neft is supporting voluntary vaccination by making this as easy as possible for employees: vaccinations are available free of charge at medical centres throughout the company’s offices and enterprises, with mobile medical teams available to give vaccinations at remote production facilities. Gazprom Neft is also providing assistance in arranging vaccinations for relatives of company employees.
Sputnik V vaccination jabs are available for Gazprom Neft employees abroad, specifically in Iraq and Austria.
As well as promoting herd immunity, Gazprom Neft is maintaining its regular one- to two-week PCR testing of employees. Data from medical tests for both the virus and antibodies are aggregated through the corporate HealthCheck system, allowing access to offices and production facilities only to those employees showing themselves to be symptom-free and either showing immunity to the virus, or having had a recent negative COVID-19 test.
