Q1 2017 results show Gazprom Neft’s Omsk Refinery produced 1.44 million tonnes of high-octane gasolines during that period — a year-on-year increase of 11.1 percent. Production of premium-brand Premium Euro-95 gasolines was up 39.5 percent, and Super Euro-98 up 7.5 percent. Production of diesel fuels was up two percent on Q1 2016, to 1.61 million tonnes.
The Omsk Refinery has consistently extended its range of light petroleum products, which are up 0.6 percent year-on-year, and which comprise 71.8 percent of total production. This increase in the production of light petroleum products is the result of a comprehensive modernisation programme at the Omsk Refinery, the priorities of which have been increasing refining depth, improving operational efficiency, and increasing environmental friendliness in production.
A further factor positively impacting performance in the production of light oil products has been the increasing use of gas condensate — which is used in up to 80 percent of light oil product components — as a raw material. A total 394,000 tonnes of condensate have been used in Q1 2017 — a
The Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, is Russia’s largest such facility by refining volumes, and one of the most cutting-edge refineries in the country. The Omsk Refinery produces in the order of 50 types of oil products, including high-octane gasolines, diesel and marine (bunkering) fuels, aviation kerosene, bitumen, household gas, heavy fuel oil (mazut), industrial sulphur, and other products in line with market demand.
