On November 18, 2009 a regular meeting of Gazprom Neft Board of Directors was held to hear strategies 2020 for oil refining and oil products marketing. The Board of Directors resolved to approve the above strategies and consider them in the course of elaborating of Gazprom Neft’s corporate strategy 2020.
Besides, the Board of Directors elected Gazrpom Neft Deputy CEO for Overseas Business Development Vladislav Baryshnikov as a new member of the Company Management Board.
Chairman of Gazprom Neft Board of Directors Alexey Miller stated: “Successful implementation of oil refining strategy introduced by Gazprom Neft and achieving of planned levels of both refining throughput and processing depth will secure the Company’s competitive advantages both in local and international markets. The Company’s plans in regards of retail sales growth, expansion of gas filling stations network and development of Gazpromneft brand will contribute to the Company’s entering into the rank of the top three leading players in Russian and CIS retail markets”.
