On September 1, 2011 Vladimir Vdovin was appointed as General Director of Muravlenkovskneft, a branch of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz.

Vladimir Anatolyevich Vdovin was born on November 9, 1969 in Otradniy, Kuibyshev Region. In 1993, he graduated from Samara State Technical University, specialising in “Oil and Gas Production”. From 1992 to 2007 he moved up from oil production operator to Head of Oil Department, to Deputy Head of Central Supervision Department at LUKOIL Western Siberia affiliate companies. From 2007 to 2009 he held the following positions at OJSC Verkhnechonskneftegaz (Irkutsk): Head of Industrial Engineering Department, Director of Oil and Gas Production Department. In May 2009, he was appointed as Chief Engineer - First Deputy General Director of Muravlenkovskneft, a branch of JSC Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz. Then Vladimir Vdovin was Acting General Director of Muravlenkovskneft.
