Features of G-Energy oils
Function
|
Effect
|
Cools
|
Components in a working engine may overheat if friction is not properly reduced in time. Oil helps to reduce friction and prevent overheating. |
Protects
|
A protective film of oil helps prevent corrosion and rusting, reducing wear on engine components. |
Cleans
|
Deposits of soot and metal particles can form on engine components over time. Oil protects them from residues and deposits. |
Neutralises
|
The oil contains alkaline additives. These neutralise aggressive oxidants, helping to prevent engine parts becoming corroded. |
Seals
|
Helping an engine to work at full power is one of the basic tasks of a high-quality oil. Gazprom Neft oils maintain maximum gas pressure in the combustion chamber. Aggressive chemicals and high temperatures are not a problem for a high-quality engine oil. |
Testing under extreme conditions
The G-Energy Racing range of specialised oils is designed for professional racing vehicles and the latest sportscars. G-Energy Racing oils have been successfully tested in rally conditions in GM engines.
Choosing and buying
You can consult our technical specialists on the company website or make your own selection of the G-Energy and Gazprom Neft oils that suit your car and driving conditions, before buying them at a Gazprom Neft filling station or in shops and specialist outlets.
Production
G-Energy oils are manufactured in Bari (Italy), a modern plant with sophisticated technology that has an annual production capacity of up to 30,000 tonnes of high-tech oils and 6,000 tonnes of synthetic lubricants.
The facility holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification for producing, packaging, storing and selling oils and lubricants.
Gazprom Neft-branded oils are manufactured in its Omsk lubricant plant. This is the most modern plant in Russia for blending, dispensing and packaging motor oils, capable of producing 110,000 tonnes of motor oil annually and packaging 180,000 tonnes of the finished product.
The major achievement during the financial year was to complete the construction and commissioning of an automated oil blending plant in Omsk with a capacity of 180,000 tonnes p.a. and to launch a new lubricant production line (5,000 tonnes p.a). In addition, the automated oil filling line was commissioned during the financial year at the Mercedes Benz Trucks Vostok production line, which covers all production requirements in terms of both range and volume.
Production is certified to ISO 16949 standard, allowing output to be supplied to the production lines of the world’s major car manufacturers.
