The Project Management Centre
Managing projects in oil and gas production throughout Siberia, the Arctic and Iraq.
The Project Management Centre is a cohesive and integrated digital and organisational space for developing and implementing major company projects in oil and gas production throughout Siberia, the Arctic and Iraq.
The centre’s most important function is optimising project implementation plans, using digital models. To that end, systems process data on construction progress and the condition and status of infrastructure facilities, analyse data and build a prognosis as to future development, in real time.
Thanks to its technological capabilities Gazprom Neft expects to halve lead-times in achieving «first oil» over the next few years. New technologies and management methodologies will also help oil workers radically increase decision-making speeds in implementing major projects, optimising lead-times and reducing these from 12 to seven years.
The Project Management Centre operates a three-level system, with monofunctional centres in St Petersburg, Tyumen, and directly within fields. A regional digital centre has been established in Tyumen, which, together with the Upstream Production Control Centre and the Drilling Control Centre, offers a single and cohesive project-implementation chain.
